HMC has a network of co-operations, memberships and an advisory board.



Since September 2006 Dr. Michael Hanisch is actively supporting the HMC as advisor. Dr. Michael Hanisch studied mechanical engineering at the University of Hannover and did his doctorate in press and forging technology.

For over 30 years he has worked in companies of mechanical engineering and plant engineering for textile machinery, special machinery, metallurgical plants & rolling mills technology as well as in the steel industry. Within the last 19 years of his career he has been member of executive committees and worked as CEO. His industrial experiences which he gained during his long-term occupation working for international companies focus on activities in the sectors R&D, construction and production.

Having this profound know-how, Dr. Michael Hanisch can offer our customers a practical experience, which ensures the success of your projects with HMC.

Bundesverband Deutscher Unternehmensberater BDU e.V.

HMC is a member of the Bundesverband Deutscher Unternehmensberater BDU e.V. Bonn/Berlin (German Federal Association of Consultants). The BDU is the German trade and professional association of the management and personnel consultants. It is the biggest single association in Europe and a member of European consultancy associations (FEACO, ICMCI). The central task of this association is to establish quality standards.

Verein Deutscher Ingenieure e.V.

The management and some of HMC’s consultants are personal members of the VDI (Union of German Engineers). The VDI is the biggest technical and economical -orientated union in Germany. It concentrates on its strengths and tasks being an inter- and trans-disciplinary networker, spokesman for the engineering community and technology as well as acting as a pool of knowledge and facilitator.

Stahlinstitut VDEh

The Management and some of HMC’s consultants are personal members of the VDEh. The aim of this union is to encourage the technical and scientific co-operation when developing the steel technology and the resource steel itself.

Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logistik e.V. (BME)

The management and some of HMC’s consultants are members in the BME (German Association of Material Management, Purchase and Logistics). The BME has got the statutory aim to encourage and qualify the members in the sector of materials management, procurement and logistics in order to increase their efficiency. The economic processes and their development should be encouraged.
